Committee:= The tournament manager will select these coaches.

Team Tourn. &nb= sp; The Regional tournament will follow the following format: The top four (4) teams from

Format: each classification will advance to the regional tournament. The tournament will consist of 10 = games, three regular and seven baker games. Teams will be paired according to the final division standings (1st vs 2^nd, 3^rd vs. 4^th). Lane assignments for each pair will be drawn and teams will bowl the three regular games on those lanes. Total pins will carry over to the = final seven games, which are in baker format. Lanes for the baker format will be assigned based on total pins from= the five-person regular game format. The team with the highest total pin count will be assigned the 1st l= ane, the team with the 2^nd highest total pin count will be assigned t= he second lane, and so on. Each team will rotate one lane to the right after e= ach game. Total pins for all ten = games will decide the Regional Champions/State Qualifying Team for each classification.

Indiv. Tourn. &nb= sp; The tournament will consist of the three (3) regular games bowled during the te= am format. The top 10 4A individuals who have met the 60 % regular season quot= a (see SOP’s) from schools/teams that did not qualify for the District Team Tournament, will qualify to bowl in the 3 regular games that are bowled dur= ing the team format. Once the tea= m format ends (at the end of the 7^th “Baker” game), those ind= ividuals from the 4A classification and 2A/3A classification from the group of 10 and from the teams which do not qualify for state, will advance to the WIAA Sta= te Individual Championships based on highest total number of pins scored during the three regular games. Indi= viduals will be placed on lanes according to final league averages (1,3,5,8,10 vs. = 2,4,6,7,9). Lanes will be drawn by the coaches prior to the tournament. They will remai= n on that pair of lanes for the duration of the tournament.

State Qual= ifiers: One team from the 4A classification= and one from the 2A/3A classification with the highest total number of pins at = the end of the ten games (3 regular and 7 baker) will advance to the WIAA State Championships. 2 individuals from the 4A classification and 2 from the 2A/3A classification will advance to the WIAA State Individual Championships.

Practice R= ounds: &= nbsp; Practice may be allowed at the bowling facility prior to the start of the tournament. All arrangements and expenses must be made and paid by the individual or school.

Substituti= ons: Bowlers may subst= itute into a game at any time from the team roster of eligible bowlers. If a substitute enters in the middle of a game, the substitute must assume the s= core of the competitor she is replacing.

Tie Breaki= ng In case of = ties in total pin fall at the completion of the tournament, the teams will<= /o:p>

Format: &= nbsp; bowl frames 6-7-8-9-10 to break the tie. Individuals will bowl frames 8-9-10.

Coaches: &= nbsp; Each team may have no more than one coach behind the bowlers’ settee seati= ng area.

Official S= core: Coaches shall sign the score = sheet game-by-game to accept the score of teams and individuals as official.=

Uniform: &= nbsp; School issued jerseys must be worn at the Regional event. Cut offs, torn clothing, half shirts, hats, clothing with advertisements of any kind (except school logos) will not be allowed.

Coaches/Pl= ayers: The team captain and the coach shall be the official representatives of the= ir team in all

Conduct: &= nbsp; communications with the scorers and the tournament officials. The coach, the five bowlers

&= nbsp; &nbs= p; &= nbsp; bowling in a round and the official scorer (if used) are the only persons authorize= d to be in the area immediately surrounding the scorers’ table. No person except the bowlers who are bowling shall be permitted in the settee seating= or lane playing area. Good sportsmanship/ conduct will prevail at all matches. Swearing, hand signa= ls, cheers or actions designed to distract or cause interference with opponents shall not be allowed. Support= ive cheers for teammates should not interfere with the concentration of opponents. Bowlers and coache= s should stay behind the scorer’s table when greeting teammates to congratulate them. No electronic devices (including, but not limited to cell phones, MP3 players, etc) will be prese= nt on the floor during matches. = Such devices will be confiscated by coaches and returned as per each individual = school’s policies/ procedures.
